Flexible Teams Share is a native Salesforce app that gives you full control over how team-based access is extended across your org. Rather than forcing every object into a handful of supported structures, this solution lets you bring teams to records on your terms—so you define when, where, and how people can collaborate. The app works by allowing you to associate any record with a team made up of users and roles. Each role grants a specific level of access—such as read, edit, or full control—and the team owner can add or remove members without administrator involvement. When you assign a record to a team, every team member receives the access defined by their role, automatically. This eliminates complex workarounds like multi-level sharing rules, redundant permission sets, or bespoke code. Instead, you get a consistent, declarative model that mirrors how people actually work: in teams, with defined responsibilities, managing their own membership.
